Part of this exciting new route ventures into unknown territory and involves some dune driving (rated 4-5 in difficulty) and clients should therefore have previously done one of our existing Namib desert trails.
Join the “legend” of the Namib Desert, Volker Janke, on a desert adventure, second to none!
We enter the dunes very close to Kolmanskop and travel along the renowned and treacherous coastline visiting all of the shipwrecks along the way, passing Saddle Hill, Agate Beach, Spencer Bay, Sylvia Hill, Oyster Cliffs, Knoll Point, the Edward Bohlen, until we reach Walvis Bay, 6 nights and 7 days later.
We cover approximately 650km of serious desert, you will need enough fuel at 3km/l for petrol engines and 4km/l for diesel engines.
WHAT WE SUPPLY:
- Three meals a day and
- two-way radios for each vehicle
Make sure you have enough water to drink and shower. Bring your own cutlery, chair, tent and sleeping gear.
You supply your own beverages along the way.
